Spain: Cantabria calls for aid for livestock associations to promote native breeds

The Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) published on December 2 the Resolution calling for aid to livestock associations for the promotion of Spanish native breeds for the year 2025. Beneficiaries may be the associations of breeders of the different species recognized by the Decree regulating the official recognition of organizations and associations of breeders of purebred animals that keep or create genealogical books. At this time, the following may access these grants: dairy cattle: Pasiega; beef cattle: Monchina; Hispano-Breton and Monchina horses; Carranzana and Carranzada black sheep, and Gallina Pedresa birds.
