Carrot Day Brings Together International Supply Chain

During the Macfrut 2025 fair in Rimini, Cora Seeds promoted the Carrot Day, a technical-scientific event that brought together over 70 participants from the international carrot chain, with representatives from Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Northern Europe. The meeting highlighted the strategic role of genetics in addressing agronomic and market challenges, reinforcing Cora Seeds' prominence, which, after acquiring KWS's breeding program in 2023, ranks among the five largest global players in carrot cultivation. According to ISMEA data presented by Mario Schiano, the European carrot market is robust, with an average annual production of 4.7 million tons, almost entirely absorbed by domestic consumption.
