Vietnam's cashew export prices have been rising, with August 2024 seeing a notable increase. Despite this, the average price for the first eight months of 2024 is slightly lower than last year. However, export volume and value have grown significantly due to higher import demand. Key suppliers include Cambodia and Guinea-Bissau, with the latter providing smaller nuts. Guinea-Bissau, despite being a top exporter, only accounts for 6% of Vietnam's raw cashew imports. The price gap between large and medium-sized cashew nuts is narrowing, but demand for larger nuts remains low.
