Catalonia calls for aid for the installation of infrastructures for the improvement of biosecurity in livestock farms

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia (DOGC) published on September 23 the resolution approving the call for applications derived from the regulatory bases of the de minimis aid intended for the installation of infrastructures for the improvement of biosecurity in cattle, sheep, and goat farms. The purpose of this subsidy is to subsidize the expenses incurred by the owners of cattle, sheep, and goat farms to make investments aimed at improving biosecurity systems to minimize contact with wild fauna, as part of the fight against tuberculosis. Furthermore, according to the regulations, the purpose of the subsidy is to promote policies in the fight against tuberculosis in cattle, sheep, and goat species. The amount of the subsidy can be up to 80% of the budget of the subsidized activity. A maximum of 20,000 euros will be granted per beneficiary.
