The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Egypt is reminding all outlets to distribute rationed goods at the designated official prices, which include 21 pounds per liter of oil, 17 pounds for an 800-ml package, 8 pounds per kilo of rice, and 8.5 pounds for sugar. The ministry has also reiterated the directive on the shares of strategic goods to each beneficiary. So far, 75% of the October ration decisions have been distributed to over 40,000 supply outlets across the country. These outlets are responsible for distributing the commodities, which include basic items like oil, rice, sugar, and other necessities, to ration card holders. The distribution is based on specific quotas, with each person receiving a set amount of sugar and oil, and up to four bottles of oil per card.
