According to Adauto Vedovelli, manager of the Friboi unit in Pedra Preta, the females were slaughtered within Protocol 1953, which requires a high quality standard. The result was an average of 286 kg per carcass, or 19.1 arrobas, a weight worthy of a meticulously finished ox. Protocol 1953 is recognized for stimulating premium meat production, focusing on young females, well-finished and with superior genetics.
