Soybean futures at the Chicago Board of Trade closed higher on Friday due to concerns over crop losses from flooding in Brazil. July soybean futures rose 11-3/4 cents to $12.28 per bushel, marking a fourth consecutive weekly increase. Despite challenging weather conditions, Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state has managed to harvest 85% of its soybeans, up from 78% the previous week. The rise in CBOT soyoil also contributed to the increase in soybean futures.
