A new grain traceability system, overseen by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center of Agroanalytics", will be implemented in Russia starting in 2022. The system will voluntarily start collecting, storing, and processing information about the production, transportation, storage, processing, sale, and disposal of grain and its products from July 1, 2022, and will make this information available to interested parties. The system will also provide consulting and methodological support to users. The goal of the system is to ensure quality control, identify unscrupulous manufacturers, and prevent the circulation of low-quality raw materials. The data will be provided by various government agencies and agricultural producers.
