Dr. Ahmed Adham, the Head of the Central Administration for Seed Inspection and Certification in Egypt, has announced a series of intensified inspections and follow-ups at seed preparation stations across the country to ensure their smooth operation and the immediate removal of any obstacles. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to oversee the production fields of strategic crop seeds and other seed-related facilities in various governorates. Under Dr. Adham's leadership, the Agricultural Crops Seed Committee is actively regulating the export and import approvals of seeds, a process vital for meeting the needs of both the private and government sectors, as well as directly benefiting farmers and the national economy. The committee has recently issued 11 export approvals for seeds intended for scientific research and commercial purposes to various countries, along with 27 import approvals for different types of seeds and seedlings.
