The Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove) has revised its forecasts for the soybean complex in 2025, predicting record numbers for production, sale, and exports of soybeans and their derivatives. The production of soybeans is expected to reach a record 168.7 million tons, with crushing expected to reach 57 million tons. Soybean meal production is projected at 44 million tons, and oil at 11.4 million tons. Exports are also expected to reach new levels, with soybeans reaching 104.4 million tons, bran reaching 22.9 million tons, and soybean oil remaining at around 1.05 million tons, totaling US$ 50.8 billion in revenue. However, oil imports are expected to grow to 150 thousand tons, while soybean imports are expected to reach 500 thousand tons.
