The number of targeted farms is 330, with a total support amount of 580 million won. The recipients include ginseng farmers affected by the summer heat wave, rice farmers affected by seedling blight caused by heavy rains, and cabbage and soybean farmers affected by the autumn rains. The total area affected by agricultural disasters in Cheongju City is 297 hectares. This includes 81 ginseng farms (49.2 hectares), 127 rice farms affected by seedling blight (124 hectares), 84 cabbage farms affected by downy mildew (81 hectares), and 46 soybean farms affected by mildew disease (32.7 hectares). The affected areas by region include 12.0 hectares for ginseng in Buk-eup, 8.9 hectares in Mwon-myeon, and Ochang-eup.
