[Korean Farmers' News Reporter Jo Sung-je] On the 14th, Cheongsong County organized a tour of the apple smart shading facility at the Gyeongnam Agricultural Technology Institute's apple research center for members of the "Apple Smart Farm Greenhouse Cultivation Farmers' Research Association" (hereinafter referred to as the research association) in order to introduce future-oriented apple cultivation technology. According to Cheongsong County, the tour focused on △ the current status of multi-axis cultivation in apple greenhouses △ greenhouse facilities and automatic pest control facilities △ and special points of smart greenhouse cultivation. The research association, composed of 52 farmers this year to respond to abnormal weather such as low temperatures and concentrated heavy rains, aims to discover farming households wishing to engage in smart farm greenhouse cultivation and provide various education and mentoring to improve the skills of farmers.
