Turkey: Cherry export from Tokat to India

Kemalpaşa village, which is connected to the center of Tokat, has an important market in the country and abroad with cherry production. This season is fruitful in agriculture 0900 type cherries exported to South Asian countries as well as European countries. In the village where cherry production is made on an area of approximately 60 thousand decares, "Ziraat 0900" type cherries are sent for export. The 26-32 caliber "Ziraat 0900" type of cherry is preferred because of its taste, appearance and durability. The cherries harvested by the villagers are brought to the brokers by tractors.
