Brazil has received authorization from Chile to export edible poultry, ruminant, and pig innards, a move that maximizes the use of slaughtered animals and generates additional revenue for the sector. This follows Chile's authorization of several Brazilian products last year, including fresh papaya and poultry genetic material from turkey and quail. Between 2022 and 2023, agricultural exports from Brazil to Chile increased by 6.5%. In the first five months of this year, these exports reached US$733 million, with 51% of this valuecorresponding to the meat sector.
