Chili pepper exports from Turkey worth 6.8 million dollars in the first half of the year

According to the information compiled by the AA correspondent from the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Association data, 12 million 226 thousand dollars worth of chili pepper exports were made from Turkey to 99 countries in 2023. Chili pepper exports, which were 5 million 441 thousand dollars in the January-June period of last year, increased by 26 percent to 6 million 878 thousand dollars in the same period this year. In the first half of this year, 83 countries, including Germany, England, Netherlands, USA, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Saudi Arabia, Canada, Qatar, Russia, Romania, Greece, People's Republic of China, Brazil, Italy, Cuba and Spain. 1876 tons of chili peppers were sent to the country.
