In the first seven months of this year, Vietnam's lobster imports to China increased by 19% in volume and 1% in value compared to the same period last year. Vietnam currently ranks 14th among China's lobster suppliers with a 1% market share. However, Vietnam's lobster exports to China decreased by 42% in the first eight months of this year compared to 2022. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has proposed a lobster breeding and export development project with the aim of reaching an export value of $200 million by 2025.
