China may allow the import of Ukrainian peas from January

It is noted that currently Ukrainian intermediaries offer standard purchase prices, however, potential access to one of the largest markets in the world can change the situation. "As of November, the prices of peas on the domestic market are kept at a stable level. Currently, the purchase prices at the Western Container Terminal in Ternopil fluctuate between 15.1-15.2 thousand UAH/t. Intermediaries offer similar prices in other regions, which vary in the range of 14.8-15 thousand UAH/t. At the ports, the prices are slightly higher — 15.5-16 thousand UAH/t, depending on the quality of the products and terms of supply," analysts report.
