China has permitted 47 Brazilian companies to export peanuts to the country, making China the largest consumer of Brazilian peanuts. This decision is part of the profitable bilateral negotiations this year, and negotiations for the export of sesame and Brazilian sorghum are expected to conclude this year. Additionally, the export of soy bran, protein, and citrus pulp is imminent. The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture is also working to authorize the sale of grapes and feed for poultry and swine to the Chinese market. Since 2019, Brazil has opened 43 new markets for agricultural products, reaching a total of 229 in 54 countries.
