China ranks among the top three consumers of agricultural products in Uzbekistan for the first time

On the 9th local time, according to Uzbekistan media reports, as of now, Uzbekistan has obtained export permits for 16 types of agricultural products to China. According to the website of Uzbekistan Agricultural Complex, the agricultural products approved to export to China include cherries, melon crops, raisins, honey, etc. According to the news, in the first half of this year, Uzbekistan exported nearly 38,000 tons of various agricultural products to China, with an export value of approximately 31 million U.S. dollars. Cotton, fruits and vegetables have the highest output and the largest export volume. They are one of Uzbekistan’s main foreign exchange sources.
