Uzbekistan has obtained export permits for 16 types of agricultural products to China, including cherries, melon crops, raisins, and honey. In the first half of the year, Uzbekistan exported nearly 38,000 tons of various agricultural products to China, with an export value of approximately 31 million U.S. dollars. China has entered the ranks of the top three Uzbekistan agricultural products consumers for the first time. The increase in agricultural exports to China is due to increased investment in agriculture, renewal of irrigation systems, adoption of advanced processing technologies, and participation in the 'Belt and Road' initiative. The opening of air routes between Chinese cities and the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan international freight route has also provided logistics and transportation convenience for Uzbekistan's export of agricultural products.
