China's Ministry of Agriculture has raised its corn production forecast for the 2025-2026 season (October-September) to 300 million tonnes, the highest since record-keeping began in 1949. The gross corn harvest forecast is up 1.3% from last month. The yield is higher than previously forecast, despite heavy rainfall in some areas of the northern Great Plain.
