Wheat imports saw a 31.6% month-over-month drop but a 71.5% year-over-year increase, with total imports from January to May at 7.19 million metric tons, marking a 62.5% year-over-year increase. Barley imports rose by 28% month-over-month and 59.7% year-over-year. Sorghum imports increased by 40.4% month-over-month but decreased by 60.8% year-over-year. Edible vegetable oil imports in May fell by 23.5% month-over-month but increased by 101% year-over-year.
