Vietnam experienced a significant increase in pepper exports in the first half of the year, with a volume of 152,900 tons and a value of $485.9 million. China surpassed the United States as the largest import market for Vietnam, with imports exceeding 50,000 tons, a 798% increase from the previous year. Despite a decrease in imports to the United States, it remained the second largest import market, followed by the United Arab Emirates, India, and Germany.
