Dr. Mohamed Ali Fahim, the Head of the Climate Change Information Center, has warned farmers about the unusual heat in August, which is extending and deepening, leading to a rise in temperature of around 4-5 degrees compared to the same period last year. This heat wave could pose a threat to the planting of new crops such as potatoes, beets, onions, garlic, artichokes, beans, peas, and strawberries. The Climate Change Information Center has provided specific planting dates to ensure successful cultivation, with the planting of some crops, like indigo potatoes and beets, being delayed until September.
