As of October 28, Kazakhstan has harvested 15.9 million hectares, or 99.2% of the total area of grains and legumes (the forecasted harvesting area is over 16 million hectares). A total of 26.9 million tons of grain have been threshed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the agrarian department, in addition to grain crops, agricultural producers have harvested by this date: • 3.7 million tons of oilseed crops; • 2.9 million tons of potatoes with a yield of 226.3 centners/ha; • 3.8 million tons of vegetables with a yield of 297.3 centners/ha. Including: • 497.5 thousand tons of cabbage with a yield of 333.4 centners/ha; • 1,058.5 thousand tons of onions with a yield of 429.9 centners/ha; • 387.7 thousand tons of carrots with a yield of 283 centners/ha.
