Brazil: Coconut has significant production in Paraná

Coconut, cultivated on 189.5 thousand hectares in the national fruit industry, stands out especially in the states of Ceará, Pará and Bahia. In Paraná, its presence is notable in the North and Northwest regions. Data revealed in the Agricultural Situation Bulletin for the week of November 3rd to 9th, prepared by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral) of the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Supply (Seab), highlights the impact of this crop on the agricultural scenario.
