Turkey, a country not known for coffee production, has been celebrating World Coffee Day since 2015 to raise awareness about the beverage's economic and social impacts. Between 2020 and 2024, the country's coffee and coffee product exports saw significant growth, reaching $154 million from $20.2 million. These products were enjoyed in 146 countries, with the United States, the Netherlands, Northern Cyprus, Belarus, and Saudi Arabia showing the highest demand. On the other hand, Turkey's coffee imports, mainly from Brazil, the Netherlands, and Germany, increased from $187.6 million in 2020 to $437 million in 2023, indicating a strong demand for coffee in the country.
