Coffee prices (arabica and robusta) fluctuated strongly throughout October. This is indicated by surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea). Agents consulted by the institute were attentive to the possible exclusion of the grain from the list of Brazilian products with extra tariffs imposed by the United States, to the climatic conditions in Brazil and Vietnam, and to the adjusted supply scenario.
