Chile already plays in the major leagues of food production and export, with leadership in fresh fruit, a consolidated presence in frozen products, a globally relevant aquaculture, and a growing offer of processed foods. This diverse portfolio rests on a common backbone: a reliable and scalable cold chain, capable of preserving the condition of the product throughout the entire logistics process and meeting the standards demanded by major international markets. In recent years, the country has begun to reinforce this backbone. In 2024, one of Chile's largest frozen warehouses was inaugurated in Talcahuano, with a capacity of nearly 37,000 pallets and around 294,000 m³, according to Emergent Cold LatAm and the Diario Frutícola.
