Peruvian officials from the National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA) visited Colombia to verify the country's control and eradication of foot and mouth disease. The visit included inspections of a pig farm for export and a slaughter plant in Antioquia, as well as the examination of controls on animal movement and livestock auctions in Córdoba. This visit is part of Colombia's efforts to restore its market access in Peru, following its regaining of its foot-and-mouth disease-free status.
