A group of 40 producers from Colombia's largest dairy cooperative, Colanta, visited Brazil to learn about advanced cattle genetics for milk production, particularly focusing on the Gir Leiteiro and Girolando breeds. The visit included a tour of ABS, the world's largest biotechnology center, and renowned dairy farms like Boa Fé, Santa Luzia, and São José do Can Can. The producers were interested in understanding the genetic improvements and best practices in dairy genetics, aiming to enhance the quality and productivity in their cooperative.
