Bolivia: Comarapa and Pampa Grande begin grape planting with great expectations

The main vine-producing area of Bolivia is the Central Valley of Tarija, located in the Department of Tarija, a region that, according to indications, has reached 77% of the cultivated surface of vineyards in the entire country. For this reason, expert producers from Tarija are supporting other producers from different departments to produce grapes and expand the product with high quality. José Sánchez wine producer from Tarija, indicated that 3 years ago a tourism commission went to visit the vineyards in the Central Valley and were fascinated with the production of grapes. In this sense, producers from various departments approached the wine expert from Tarija, to be advised, and to start planting grapes in different municipalities and departments.
