Peru: Asparagus and mango were the most exported products by air

In November 2021 alone, Peruvian exports by air reached 8,588 tons, showing an increase of +10.3%, compared to what was shipped in the same month of 2020. The Peruvian Foreign Trade Society (Comex Peru), reported that from January to November 2021, Peruvian exports by air reached 83,376 tons, showing an increase of +8.3%, compared to what was dispatched in the same months of 2020. Regarding the year 2021, the main product exported by air was fresh or refrigerated asparagus with 40,552 tons, which meant a contraction of -3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. The volume of asparagus exported by air represented 48.63% of the total shipments made by our country by this means, during the analyzed period of 2021. The second most shipped product by air from January to November was fresh or dried mangoes, which reached 12,544 tons, registering an increase of +4.6% compared to the same months of 2020.
