Deputy Prime Minister Jurin Laksanawisit and the Minister of Commerce have ordered the Department of Internal Trade to closely monitor the situation of agricultural product prices, following the discovery that the accumulated egg quantity has increased and production costs have risen due to disease control in poultry and increased feed raw material prices. The Ministry of Commerce is also providing a link between provincial commerce and the Office of Foreign Trade Promotion to find orders or markets for products of each province. The report also mentions that the prices of higher-priced products such as sticky rice, cassava, durian, coconut, shallots, and onions have increased, which is beneficial for farmers.
