Thai exports experienced the highest growth in 28 months in March, with a 8.47% increase, primarily driven by automobiles, rubber products, plastic resins, and statistical products. The Office of Trade Policy and Strategy (OTP) within the Ministry of Commerce is implementing a plan to further boost exports by gathering feedback from Thai importers. The Ministry is also advocating for the sharing of Big Data to inform export strategies. Throughout 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, exports are expected to grow positively, fueled by products such as electronic items, pet food, rubber products, automobile parts, livestock products, processed chicken, agricultural products, food products, and oil-related products.
