Comparison of red pitahaya exports from Peru and Ecuador in the first two months of 2025

Alex Bustos Guerra, president of Green Control LA, compared shipments from both countries in the first two months of 2025, based on data from the consulting firm Fresh Fruit Perú and the Central Bank of Ecuador. He found interesting data: Ecuador exported approximately 20 times the volume and 25 times the value of red pitahaya than Peru in the months of January and February 2025.
