Two ministerial decrees have been passed to provide aid to Italian pear-producing companies, allocating a total of 33 million euros. The first decree, worth 18 million euros, provides aid to companies that suffered a production value reduction of over 30% in 2023, and the second decree, worth 15 million euros, aids companies affected by climatic and natural events in 2024. Additionally, 47 million euros has been allocated to address the downy mildew fungal infection that affected vines in the 2023-2024 marketing campaign.
