Compensations for Covid-19 will be paid to rose growers of Bulgaria until November 5

The first 323 rose growers will receive compensation under the scheme "Aid to support the liquidity of farmers, producers of oil-bearing roses to overcome the consequences of the negative economic impact of COVID-19" until November 5, this year. This was announced by the Agriculture Fund, after the acceptance of applications for support under this measure took place in the period October 1-15. The scheme, which is being implemented for the first time in Bulgaria, has been notified by the European Commission under the Temporary Framework for State Aid Measures due to the coronary crisis. The approved budget for the targeted assistance amounts to BGN 2 million. Of the applicant farmers, three were not approved for support. The eligible for financing 323 farmers have submitted applications for 998.57 hectares (9,985.7 decares) of areas with oil-bearing roses.
