Rice planting in Brazil has reached 90.7% of the estimated area in the six main producing states, an increase from the previous week's 88.6%, and higher than the same period last year's 87.7%. The first 2024/25 bean crop harvest has advanced to 10.2% of the planted area, down from the previous week's 7.7%, and behind last year's 13.6%. Bean planting has also reached 64.4% of the area, slightly up from the previous week's 63.8%, but lower than the 56.8% planted during the same period last year.
