Brazil: Grain production in the state of São Paulo expected to reach 9.21 million tons

São Paulo producers are expected to harvest 9.21 million tons of grains in the 2023/2024 harvest. The volume represents a drop of 19.7% compared to the previous cycle. The reduction is explained by the adverse climate recorded, which affected the crops of the main crops grown in the state. This is what the 8th Grain Survey of the 2023/2024 Harvest reveals, released this Tuesday (14) by the National Supply Company (Conab). Corn shows a drop of 18.2% in total production, projected at around 3.9 million tons. The first cereal harvest saw a drop in cultivated area and productivity.
