Contrary to popular belief, local eggs in Egypt are 25 pounds cheaper than white eggs

El Sayed attributed this decrease in the prices of local eggs to the reluctance of breeders to enter new breeding cycles coinciding with the beginning of the winter season, during which poultry infections and deaths increase. El Sayed explained that this made egg producers sell eggs without hatching them and turning them into chicks, which led to an increase in the supply of local eggs and thus a decrease in their prices.
