Corn seeds will be provided to Ukrainian farmers

The US government, within the framework of the AGRI-Ukraine initiative, will provide free of charge Dekalb brand corn seeds from the Bayer company for spring planting in 2024 to Ukrainian agricultural producers from 10 oblasts. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Through the USAID AGRO Program and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, a total of 15,756 sowing units of seeds will be given to farmers. Each participant will be able to receive up to 25 sowing units per farm, which will be enough to sow 25 hectares. Assistance will be provided to farmers in the front-line and affected areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
