Corn yields are at catastrophic levels in Lovech.

Higher sunflower yields compared to last year and lower corn yields are reported by grain producers in the Lovech region, according to Adriana Mladenova, Director of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture. In the region, 181,177 hectares were sown with sunflower, with 147,402 hectares harvested. The average yield is 180 kg per hectare, with 26,567 tons collected so far, reports BTA. The average yield is 195 kg per hectare, with a total of 20,717 tons of harvested produce.
