Corn/USDA: USA sells 71.7 thousand tons of the 2022/23 harvest in the week

The volume represents a significant decline compared to the previous week and a 39% drop compared to the average of the previous four weeks. In the week, the main buyers were Colombia (143.4 thousand t), Spain (58 thousand t), Japan (53.2 thousand t), United Kingdom (49.5 thousand t) and El Salvador (8.5 thousand t ), which offset cancellations made by undisclosed destinations (196.5 thousand t), Mexico (25 thousand t), Honduras (23.3 thousand t) and Guatemala (7.5 thousand t).
