Haenam napa cabbage has embarked on its export journey to Canada. On the 26th, Haenam County (County Magistrate Myeong Hyeon-gwan) held a shipment ceremony at the Seongjang Farming Corporation in Sani-myeon for the Haenam napa cabbage to be exported to Canada. The shipment volume this time is 40 tons, and a total of 1,000 tons is scheduled to be supplied to major H-Mart stores in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, by March next year. The ceremony was attended by around 20 people, including County Magistrate Myeong Hyeon-gwan, Chairman I Seong-ok of the Haenam County Council, International Cooperation Officer Sin Hyeon-gwan of Jeollanam-do, Provincial Assemblyman Kim Seong-il, related officials, and representatives from exporting farms and export companies. The exporting company, Seongjang Farming Corporation, is an agricultural corporation that grows napa cabbage in the areas of Hwangsan-myeon and Sani-myeon in Haenam.
