Malaysia: CPPC Bukit Saban will help local chicken farmers market their products

KUCHING: The construction of a Collection, Processing and Packaging Center (CPPC) in Bukit Saban, which is expected to be completed in 2026, will help local chicken farmers market their products, potentially to neighboring countries. Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said the establishment of the CPPC is in line with the initiative of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), through the launch of the Integrated Village Economy Project (PROSPEK) in Betong, which includes three programs namely village chicken farming, ginger planting and kebaya embroidery handicrafts dabong "As the SPPC in Bukit Saban collects, processes and packages these products, it will be equipped with a frozen facility.
