The Croatian Bureau of Statistics has released its initial estimate for the country's crop harvesting projections for 2024, predicting a 12% decrease in sugar beet production to 440,000 tonnes, while soybean production is expected to increase by 12.7% to 240,000 tonnes. Sunseed harvest is forecasted to yield 155,000 tonnes, marking a 1.9% decrease from 2023. Additionally, the country's wheat production is estimated to grow by 2.2% to 840,000 tonnes.
