In the Santa Rosa region, the current phase involves technical monitoring in soil management, with the use of annual rotation between cassava and corn. In Santo Ângelo, a producer has been receiving technical support for the conduction of the planting, including the elaboration of an annual cost project for corn and the implementation of 15 cassava cultivars in partnership with the Federal Institute of Farroupilha. The initiative foresees the realization of a field day next year. According to the bulletin, “monitoring of the germination of the areas continues, as there are concerns regarding the quality of the delivered material, which was affected by whitefly and frost”.
