The Regional Management of Agriculture of Cusco has distributed 15 tons of oat seed to over 240 farmers across the districts of Pampamarca, Tupac Amaru, Yanaoca, and Quehue, in the province of Canas. This initiative, part of the Agricultural Safety Project, aims to address forage shortages and ensure the availability of oats for feeding sheep and South American camelids during dry seasons. The initiative was led by local politicians and authorities, with the larger project focusing on quality and safety of agricultural products, promoting superior production, processing, and marketing practices.
