Cusco: Promoting Canchis livestock activity with the delivery of 30 tons of oat seeds

As part of the strengthening of livestock activity, the Agricultural Safety Project of the Regional Agriculture Management of Cusco delivered 30 tons of forage oat seeds to 600 producers in the Canchis province.

This provision will allow for the improvement of the quantity and quality of pastures, guaranteeing a more nutritious food for sheep and camelids, as well as contributing to the strengthening of livestock activity in seven districts of the province.

Additionally, 600 liters of foliar fertilizer were distributed, an input that will favor the yield of crops and the recovery of soils.

With these actions, the Regional Agriculture Management reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting the farmers of Cusco, promoting the productivity of their lands, local economic development, and the food security of families dedicated to the agricultural sector.
