The Department of Agriculture (DA) in the Philippines has accredited meat exporters from Brazil, Germany, Hungary, and Poland for a three-year period, expiring in February 2027. This accreditation confirms that the meat from these countries is free from pathogens and diseases that could harm Filipinos and the domestic livestock and poultry industry. The DA has verified that all meat establishments in these countries comply with the World Organization of Animal Health's animal health code and the Philippines' quarantine and meat inspection standards.
